Athlete and ‘Jordan Brand’ star Jayson Tatum gets some love from Michael Jordan at a Paris event, and it’s all on video

Jayson Tatum and Michael Jordan got to hang out in Paris for a Jordan Brand event. Jordan can be seen embracing Tatum in a fun manner at one point in the video posted to the brand’s social media accounts. Other NBA stars who have partnered with the Jordan brand also attended the occasion.

Tatum inked a deal with Jordan Brand in July of this year. In April of 2023, he debuted in the brand’s Jordan Tatum 1 sneaker. Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic, and Russell Westbrook are also members of the Jordan family that have played in the NBA. Zion and Luka were also in attendance, as evidenced by their appearance in the video.

Jayson Tatum is a serious contender for most valuable player of the regular season.

Larry Bird, who played for the Boston Celtics in the 1985–86 season, was the team’s last NBA Most Valuable Player. In the subsequent seasons, Bird would place third in 1986–1987 and second in 1987–1988.

Kevin Garnett’s third-place result in 2007-2008 was the last time a Boston player made the top three.

One of the guys that will likely be discussed for MVP honors this year is Jayson Tatum. Since 2022, when he placed sixth, and again last season, when he placed fourth, he has been a contender.

In addition, for the past two years in a row, Tatum has been named to the first team of All-NBA. Last season, he put up 30.1 ppg, 8.8 rpg, and 4.6 apg overall.

Recent guests on ESPN’s Lowe Post podcast, NBA gurus Zach Lowe and Kevin Pelton, both picked Tatum as their MVP frontrunner.

I’m gоing tо gо with Jаysоn Tаtum. Zаch Lоwe predicted thаt Tаtum аnd Jоkic will fаce оff fоr the аwаrd. Lоwe аcknоwledged thаt it wоuld be а clоse bаttle between а number оf cаndidаtes.

There is no reason why Jayson Tatum shouldn’t be a strong contender to win the MVP award if the Celtics finish as the top seed in the league or the Eastern Conference and he maintains the same level of performance as last season.
