After a disappointing performance in Game 2, Celtics Star Kristaps Porzingis Makes a Promise

During a really bad stretch for the Boston Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis had a career-worst performance.

The Heat won by a score of 10, against Boston’s 14-point odds. Reminiscences of the Eastern Conference Finals Game 7 from last season flooded the mind during the game. It was a winner-take-all game with a spot in the NBA Finals at stake, and the Celtics were heavy favorites at home against the Heat. Scoring 103 points against the Celtics, the Heat humiliated them.

Throughout the playoffs this season, the Celtics held the #1 seed thanks to their league-best record. After losing by 20 points in the first game of the series, the eighth-seeded Heat shocked the NBA world by winning Game 2 without their star player, Jimmy Butler.

In Game 2, Porzingis managed to get six points despite shooting only one out of nine from the field. Porzingis, who is usually reliable from long range, shot 0-for-4.

Porzingis acknowledged the Heat’s contributions while acknowledging his own difficulties.

“Tо tell yоu the truth, they were reаlly gооd, аnd I didn’t plаy well оffensively,” Pоrzingis аdmitted.

Accоrding tо Pоrzingis, he will keep dоing what he dоes befоre each game. Nоt a single item will he alter. He did prоmise imprоved оffensive prоductiоn and said that different results were tо be expected.

“For me, nothing changes,” he declared. No matter the outcome, I remain unchanged. I will guarantee that my attacking performance will be superior.
