Watching one of her past films brought up some nostalgic feelings for Drew Barrymore.

Barrymore posted a video to her Instagram recently after coming across 1998’s “The Wedding Singer” on TV. She costarred with Adam Sandler in the comedy.

“I love you so much @adamsandler. ‘The Wedding Singer’ came on my TV as I was getting ready to leave the house and I had to take in this moment and watch it,” she captioned the post.

Barrymore got so involved with the movie she pushed back a yoga class.

“We made such a good movie, I love you so much, Happy New Year,” the current daytime talk show host said in the video. “What year is it that we met in the newsroom? 1922?”

Sandler responded to the kind video in the post’s comments, “Love u always Drew. Happy New Year.”

“The Wedding Singer” was the first collaboration between Sandler and Barrymore. The pair followed it up with 2004’s “50 First Dates” and 2014’s “Blended.”
