Whoopi Goldberg got a rude interruption during the beginning of a recent “The View” episode.

Goldberg was making her opening remarks during the live program when an echoing sound appeared, cutting her off mid-sentence, according to EW.

The Oscar winner looked toward the studio ceiling, as she paused her introduction to try and figure out what was causing the noise. The audience then laughed at the abrupt stoppage.

“God, is that you?” cohost Sara Haines joked, as she turned her own gaze upwards.

“Roll it back,” Goldberg said, as she returned her eyes to the camera and continued with her segment.

The mysterious sound turned out to be an audio issue, according to “The View” producer Brian Teta.

“For those wondering – ‘the echo’ at the start of the show as an issue with the sound board,” he wrote on Twitter. “Move along – nothing to see here!”
