NFL Star Kyle Juszczyk Says It’s Been ‘Pure Joy’ Seeing Wife Kristin’s Custom Jacket for Taylor Swift Go Viral

The singer, as well as Simone Biles and Brittany Mahomes, all wore Kristin Juszczyk’s handmade jackets this past weekend

San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszczyk might be the one in the NFL playoffs, but it’s his wife Kristin who’s been making headlines for her designs worn by the likes of Taylor Swift, Simone Biles and more in recent weeks.

On Tuesday, Kyle, 32, told reporters, including The Athletic, that it’s been a “pure joy” to watch his wife Kristin, 29, and her design brand blow up online.

After Swift, Biles, and Brittany Mahomes donned her NFL-inspired outfits this past weekend, the 49ers fullback flooded social media with praise for his wife’s brand. Kyle responded to a handful of posts on X about Kristin’s work — which often includes her reworking t-shirts and jerseys into custom game day looks — crediting her in the comments and making sure she got recognition.

“She’s been grinding for years now and working so hard,” Kyle smiled, standing outside his 49ers team locker in a video shared by reporter David Lombardi. “I’m so happy to see her get her stuff out there, everybody sees it and recognizes it was hers.”

Kyle said his wife sometimes puts “20 hours alone” into a single jacket, which often features a collage of a specific NFL team’s logo and mashups featuring a player’s jersey.

Swift wore a jacket inspired by boyfriend Travis Kelce’s No. 87 Kansas City Chiefs jersey while Mahomes donned one featuring husband Patrick Mahomes’ No. 15 Chiefs jersey. Additionally, Biles was seen wearing a Green Bay Packers jacket embellished with husband Jonathan Owens’ No. 34.

Even Twilight actor Taylor Lautner reached out to Kristin for a custom Detroit Lions jacket, which he wore during Sunday night’s game.

“There’s times I’m waking up 3 or 4 in the morning and she’s not in bed, she’s downstairs working,” Kyle told reporters.

“I’m so proud of her,” the athlete continued. “I think she’s extremely talented, and the things she’s putting out there are one of a kind.”

He added, “I just wanted to make sure she got that credit. At first, the announcers were like, ‘Taylor Swift can get Nike to do anything!’ And I was like, ‘Ahh, come on! We got to let people know this was all Kristin.’ I’m really happy to see her get that credit.”

Kyle played coy when reporters asked him what his wife has planned for this weekend and which celebrities might be donning her now-famous jackets at the NFL Playoff’s Divisional Round games on Saturday and Sunday.

He did, however, reveal that Kristin might soon partner with a larger brand to make the jackets. “She’s had every company reach out to her,” Kyle said. “She has every option on the table right now. She’s going back-and-forth with a few companies and some good stuff’s going to come of it.”
