Travis Kelce might be preparing for the most important NFL game of the season, but he will not be able to escape questions about Taylor Swift no matter how hard he tries.

While Kelce has been a good sport when asked about his super-famous girlfriend, sometimes the questions don’t deserve a full answer. That’s exactly what happened just days before Super Bowl LVIII.

During a press conference on Friday, a reporter asked Kelce if he could complete the lyric: “Karma is the guy on the…” Kelce correctly responded with “Chiefs”, a nod to Swift changing the song’s lyrics during a November concert in honor of the tight end.

The reporter continues, pleading Kelce to finish it. Kelce either didn’t know the rest or didn’t want to sing, leaving a few seconds of pure awkwardness as he tried to move on to the next question.

The lyrics Kelce had to recite to correctly answer the question would have been:

Karma is the guy on the Chiefs

Coming straight home to me

‘Cause karma is my boyfriend

We’ll see if this turns into an argument for the power couple or if it’s swept under the rug.
