The band gave quite the performance in Nashville.

Few tracks are more synonymous with Bon Jovi than “Livin’ On a Prayer”. The chart-topping song came from the band’s massive 1986 hit record “Slippery When Wet”.

The second single off the album, following “You Give Love a Bad Name”, the tune was on heavy rotation on the radio and on MTV, and it ended up reaching Nr. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and Hot 100.

Arguably the most iconic song by the band, “Livin’ On a Prayer” is often used as a closer at Bon Jovi’s concerts, leading to a consistent euphoric reaction by fans.

But, at the band’s concert in Nashville, Tennessee on April 30, frontman Jon Bon Jovi decided to surprise the audience by opening the gig with the mega-hit.

Not only that, but to the fans’ delight, the vocalist kicked off the performance from the back of the house, first singing close to the crowd before making his way to the stage.
