Well, it hasn’t been that long since the engagement rumors of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce came to rest, but seeing the grin on his face when asked about a potential engagement scenario with his lady love, Swift– the rumors seemed to have returned.

The Kansas City Chiefs star and the multiple-time Grammy winner have been dating for quite some time now, therefore it seemed apparent that the questions about their future would see the day of light. And that’s why Kelce was asked who would get a ring first: the San Francisco 49ers or his girlfriend, despite Super Bowl LVIII‘s rush.

Kelce said as he waived off the rising rumors:

I’m focused on getting this ringThat’s all my mind is focused on right now.

The last time, when the engagement rumors began, it was because of the gorgeous Topaz ring that Swift was spotted wearing in her birthday pictures, however, it was found out that Keleigh Sperry gifted her the opal and blue Topaz ring on her 34th birthday.

Since Kelce and Swift began dating, everyone has been obsessed with them, especially because the “Lover” songwriter hardly missed a Chiefs game this season as she always came down to support her beau. In doing so, not only did she increase the female audience of the NFL but also generated a revenue of $331.5 million in equivalent brand value for the Chiefs as well as the NFL.

In a recent press conference, the Chiefs tight end revealed, “The Super Bowl, we’ll worry about if she can make it,” when asked about whether or not the pop star would attend the Super Bowl LVIII. There was always a flicker of doubt regarding this as Swift’s Eras Tour at Tokyo is ending just a day before the big game.

If she plans to attend the game, the “Bad Blood” singer would need to set a 13.5-hour journey from Tokyo to Las Vegas. The news has come off as an utter distress for the fans, especially because she has unofficially become the lucky charm of the franchise.

Though the news isn’t confirmed yet, so there still is a ray of hope. But Kelce felt would be wise to not raise the expectations of fans as the chances of Swift making the game are very slim.
