Dak Prescott thrives under pressure despite Jerry Jones’ trade hints.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been one of the most criticized quarterbacks in the NFL. While most of the criticisms are warranted, some just like to bash the quarterback because of the star on his helmet.

Amidst this, the Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has now showered Prescott with huge praises for embracing the pressure of being the quarterback of one of the most popular teams in the league.

I don’t know that I’ve ever met anybody that has done a better job of accepting the expectation that he deals with. You weigh it all and it’s not like it’s been an easy road for him. He’s had to overcome a lot on his way. Maybe that’s why we all respect him. He asks a lot of himself.

Furthermore, the 81-year-old owner said that he respects Prescott not only as the quarterback of his team but also as a person. Jones believes Prescott is ‘genuinely interested’ in the success of the Dallas-based football team.

I respect (him) as much as anybody I’ve ever seen, period, not just sports but across the whole board. Dak does it as good as anybody. He doesn’t run from it. But he does it in a way that you can tell he’s genuinely interested in the success of this team.

These comments come just a few days after Jones seemingly took a shot at Prescott following the Minnesota Vikings victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.

Jerry Jones: “I don’t know that I’ve ever met anybody that has done a better job of accepting the expectation that (Dak Prescott) deals with.

“I respect (him) as much as anybody I’ve ever seen. … Dak does it as good as anybody. He doesn’t run from it.”

Jones implied that the Vikings won the game against the Niners because their quarterback Kirk Cousins stepped up at the right time. Many interpreted that as Jerry Jones taking a subtle shot at Prescott.

Dak Prescott shuts down critics in a savage way

The Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been on the receiving end of some unjustified hate despite him leading his team to a 4-2 start through the first 7 weeks of the ongoing NFL season.

Amidst the criticism, Prescott went on to savage mode to shut down his haters.

Prescott said he had been the QB of the Cowboys for the last 8 years and it isn’t going to change soon, no matter whether someone is b**ching about it.

Dak Prescott on critics: “I’ve been in this organization eight years, whether you bitch about it or not, it’s not going to stop. …

To me, it’s fun. Because when things go our way and we win this thing, it’s going to make it all that much sweeter.” https://t.co/RvQEJLzHIK

On the sporting side of things, Prescott and the Cowboys are looking to better their 4-2 record by registering a victory against the Los Angeles Rams, who they are scheduled to face in their week 8 game this Sunday.

Prescott would look to make a statement by tearing up LA’s defense in their home game.
