Skip Bayless claims ‘it’s about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction’ to boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Chiefs after Kansas City suffered shock defeat to the Raiders on Christmas

Sports analyst Skip Bayless suggested it is time to brand Taylor Swift a distraction to the Kansas City Chiefs and her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The pop star, 34, once again cheered on her NFL beau Kelce, also 34, as she watched the Chiefs’ Christmas Day game against the Las Vegas Raiders with her family.

However, the Raiders stole Christmas and the Anti-Hero hitmaker’s festive spirits took a hit as she watched her tight end boyfriend slip to a shock loss – the second in the last three games she has attended.

And Bayless, the host of Fox’s ‘Undisputed’, suggested the Chiefs, who are now 9-6 and have yet to lock down their playoff berth, have the songstress to blame for their recent form.

‘Feels like it’s about time to call Taylor Swift a distraction,’ he posted to Twitter following Monday’s game. ‘What do you think, Patrick? Andy? How about you, Travis?’

Bayless was referring to head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who threw a pick six during the defeat.

Swift was seen consoling the quarterback’s wife, Brittany, in their Arrowhead suite following the game.

The wife of the Kansas City passer was visibly upset after the result, looking shell-shocked and putting her hands to her face as Swift rubbed her shoulder.

The pop star also looked deflated with the loss marking the second loss NFL beau Kelce and the Chiefs have suffered with her in attendance.

The two have quickly struck up a close friendship since the songstress struck up her high profile relationship with the Chiefs tight end and began attending his games alongside the longtime WAG.

The new friends further cemented their blossoming friendship as they wore matching red Santa hats for the Christmas Day game with Taylor’s embroidered with an ’87’ on the front and Brittany’s with a ’15’ in tribute to their partner’s respective jersey numbers.

The pair have been almost inseparable since Swift and Kelce took their relationship public and even debuted a personal handshake to celebrate Chiefs touchdowns in October.

Brittany also appears to have been accepted into Taylor’s inner circle, as she joined her friend group of Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid and Sophie Turner out for dinner in New York City last month.

The former collegiate soccer player also jetted into Green Bay with Taylor on the Anti-Hero hitmaker’s private jet at the beginning of the month and appeared to have lent Swift a red Teddy coat she previously wore at a game for the frigid matchup against the Packers.

Meanwhile, Kelce had five receptions from 44 yards against the Raiders and was kept out of the end zone.

Kansas City hosts the Cincinnati Bengals next on New Year’s and Swift and Brittany will be hoping their men can perform on the field to deliver a better cause for celebration that their Christmas performance.
