VIDEO: ACTOR DWAYNE ‘THE ROCK’ JOHNSON RETURNS TO WWE AFTER 6 YEARS OF ABSENCE

Hollywood actor and former wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made fans crazy when he returned to the WWE Smack Down ring.

The actor revealed about his return to WWE on the previous Pat McAfee Show. He discussed the possibility of appearing at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.

Hours later, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and McAfee made the trip to Denver, where WWE was hosting a nationally televised primetime show.

The episode began with McAfee – who has been involved as a wrestler and commentator in WWE in recent years – making a surprise entrance, before being interrupted by Austin Theory.

Theory threatened revenge against McAfee, who defeated him in a match at Wrestlemania 38 in Arlington, Texas last year.

However, McAfee told Theory that wouldn’t happen, noting that SmackDown is “a show for everyone,” at which point The Rock walked out onto the stage and the crowd started screaming .

The Rock and Theory engaged in a war of words before Theory threw a series of punches at “The Hottest Man in Showbiz.”

However, The Rock attacked Theory with a Spinebuster (attack to the spine), and McAfee added punches that stunned Theory.

The Rock’s appearance in WWE comes the same day he revealed to McAfee that he was turned down when asked to compete with WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 39 earlier this year.

The Hollywood actor confirmed that he is completely ready for such a match to take place at Wrestlemania 40 in Philadelphia next year.

It also marked The Rock’s first appearance in WWE since 2019, appearing on the premiere episode of Friday Night Smackdown on Fox.
