EXCLUSIVE TWILIGHT TALE: Taylor Swift Whispers Goodbye to Chiefs' Heartthrob Travis Kelce, Leaving Behind the Echoes of a Passionate Night in His Enchanting Kansas City Haven

Global pop icon Taylor Swift departed an icy Kansas City early on Monday after spending the night hunkering down with her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce at his $6million mansion.

DailyMail.com spotted the 34-year-old singer clambering aboard her $40 million private plane from a black SUV at the city’s downtown airport as temperatures plummeted below freezing.

She was in Kansas City to cheer on Kelce, also 34, in the Chiefs’ playoff 26-7 victory over the Miami Dolphins.

Kelce made a trip out alone on Sunday afternoon, returning to his team’s headquarters in his white Hummer for a post-match debrief with his fellow Chiefs players.

Swift has been a regular fixture at his games since the couple announced they were an item back in October and was spotted high-fiving fans in the stands at this past weekend’s game.

Her presence has even been credited with boosting the number of women flocking to watch the Chiefs in action.

Rumors had swirled that the two-time Super Bowl winner was already planning to pop the question to his better half later this year.

The reports prompted a denial from America’s most famous couple, who insisted that they had ‘no plans’ any time soon to get hitched.

But the loved-up couple are trying to find ways to spend their first Valentine’s Day together with Swift vowing to race back from the Japanese leg of her Eras tour for a hot February 14th date.

It comes after a bombshell report by Life & Style that the tight-end and the billionaire musician had their first major argument over Christmas.

Kelce supposedly ‘snapped’ at Swift on Christmas Day as the pair clashed following the Chiefs’ loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.

The NFL star is said to have let his emotions get the better of him after the defeat at Arrowhead, which left his girlfriend feeling ‘hurt and confused’.

During the loss, he was also seen throwing his helmet down in fury on the sidelines.

The magazine also claimed that the 12-time Grammy winner has an ‘awkward relationship’ with Kelce’s brother and his partner.

And a week later, Swift’s stressful holiday season was followed by a controversial New York Times article which questioned her sexuality.

Taylor’s friends were said to be upset about the opinion piece, adding to the tumultuous two weeks she encountered after her lovers’ tiff with Kelce.

It is believed Taylor is now starting to acknowledge the challenges that come with dating a high-profile athlete, with the pop sensation even asking fellow WAG Brittany Mahomes for advice.

‘Brittany told Taylor to let Travis lick his wounds, but it wasn’t easy,’ the source is quoted.

Swift was reportedly a ‘nervous wreck’ when she next attended a Chiefs game on New Year’s Eve, despite being seen sharing a kiss with her boyfriend later in the evening at a glitzy party.

The prospect of another Kansas City loss ruining their celebrations was a huge worry for the singer and songwriter, but fortunately, Kelce and Co prevailed in a 25-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Travis opened up on the pain of losing to Las Vegas on Christmas Day, admitting on his New Heights podcast that it was ‘the f****ng worst’.

‘That was embarrassing. Everybody in the building knows how embarrassing that was. We got a short week so we’re going to forget about this s*** real quick,’ he said.

‘It’s a f***ing frustrating experience right now and every single day we’re trying to fix it. I promise you guys.

‘It’s not just one. It’s not just me playing dog s***… we played so trash as an offense that we put the defense in a really tough spot at the end of the game. It’s frustrating when you’ve got the guys you need, and things aren’t going your way.’
