Dr. Dre holds Eminem in high regard, considering him the best MC ever, regardless of his race. In an interview on SiriusXM’s This Life of Mine with James Corden, the rapper and record producer discussed his deep admiration for Eminem and his unmatched skills on the mic.

Reflecting on their first meeting, Dre recalled being introduced to Eminem’s music by record executive Jimmy Iovine. Despite initially not knowing Eminem’s race, Dre was captivated by his talent and couldn’t stop listening to his demos. He later discovered that Eminem was a white guy, but it didn’t change his opinion of his skills.

Their collaboration began with Dre producing Eminem’s first four albums, a partnership that Dre believes contributed to Eminem’s success as an artist. Despite any doubts or prejudices others might have had, Dre has always believed in Eminem’s abilities and considers him unparalleled in the rap game.
