Back in 2003, 50 Cent’s pivotal album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” featured two impactful appearances by Eminem, solidifying the foundation of their enduring partnership. As the Final Lap tour celebrated two decades of this groundbreaking record, it was only natural for the Detroit native to join 50 Cent on stage in Michigan for a momentous celebration.

In a surprise appearance at Pine Knob Amphitheater in Clarkston, Michigan, the rap titans delivered a fiery rendition of “Crack a Bottle,” the lead single from Eminem’s 2009 comeback album, “Relapse.” The crowd was electrified as they performed the song, albeit without the presence of Dr. Dre, who featured on the original recording.

Addressing the audience, Eminem exclaimed, “Don’t act like you didn’t know I was going to be here. Detroit, let’s make some noise for one of my dearest friends, 50 Cent. And let’s also celebrate hip-hop’s 50th birthday, y’all.”

Earlier this year, 50 Cent revealed that Eminem expressed interest in hitting the studio with Dr. Dre, hinting at new musical endeavors. While no concrete release plans have been disclosed, 50 Cent shared insights into his creative process, stating, “I always like to find material I think is hot before I go to Dre and Em.” He emphasized the importance of crafting something authentic and personally meaningful before bringing it to fruition in collaboration with the iconic duo.
