Ice Cube block a Twitter troll who shared a AI-generated image that did not sit well with the legendary West Coast rapper. On Wednesday, a computer-generated picture circulated on the platform, featuring Ice Cube posing on all fours with his naked buttocks exposed. The user @chantgod, who posted the viral image with the caption “YALL ARE GOING TO HELL,” received over 23,000 likes and 3,000 reposts. It remains unclear whether @chantgod was the creator of the image.

Expressing his displeasure with the sexually suggestive visual, Ice Cube promptly blocked @chantgod on the platform. The user, in response, tweeted the following day, “I AM IN TEARS,” accompanied by crying face emojis and a screenshot revealing that the N.W.A legend had blocked him. Some supported Ice Cube’s decision, with one person commenting that the action was deserved, as the image gave them nightmares.

This incident sheds light on Ice Cube’s aversion to artificial intelligence, a sentiment he expressed during an interview with Piers Morgan last summer. He criticized AI for making people lazier and less creative, particularly when it comes to replicating styles and personalities without the human element. Ice Cube emphasized the potential dangers of AI, drawing parallels to scenarios where his likeness could be used without consent, such as in sequels or posthumous works.

Ice Cube, known for checking internet trolls, also shared his philosophy on dealing with them during an interview with Memphis’ K97 FM last year. He emphasized the importance of standing up for oneself and not allowing people, or even bots, to speak disrespectfully. In his words, “Sometimes you gotta hit the corner and buss on ’em. When you wanna talk slick to me on Twitter, you can expect to get a response.” Ice Cube remains vigilant in not letting disrespectful comments slide, even if they come from the realm of artificial intelligence.
