Mariska Hargitay’s Hospitalization Will Not Affect Production On ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’

While Hargitay has yet to reveal how she injured herself so badly, we’re told she didn’t hurt herself on the set of the long-running NBC crime show.
In fact, has learned all the episodes for Season 22 of have already been filmed, with production wrapping just last month.
Mariska — who famously plays Detective Olivia Benson — surprised everyone when she revealed on Wednesday that she had been hospitalized after suffering a broken right knee and hairline fracture to her left ankle.
Posting a photo outside of the hospital, Hargitay gave her 2.1 million Instagram fans at the outcome of her injuries.
Wearing white shorts, a black t-shirt, and a long-sleeved robe-like sweater, the famous TV star stood outside the hospital showing off her latest accessories — her casts.
Sporting a soft black cast over her knee and a boot supporting her ankle, Mariska posed for the picture which was taken outside of the Hospital For Special Surgery in New York City.
Revealing that she wasn’t feeling well, Hargitay made it seem like she was unaware of the seriousness of her injuries.
“#ThatFeelingWhen, you go to the doctor, get an MRI and find out that you have a broken knee, a hairline fracture in your ankle, and a torn ligament,” she captioned her
on Wednesday.Reminding her followers that “it’s always a good idea to go to the doctor,” she emphasized to go “immediately” instead of waiting.
Thankfully, when it is time to get back to work, Mariska will be good to go because she also revealed she doesn’t need surgery.
Hargitay has played Olivia Benson on since the beginning in 1999.
She’s currently the HBIC of the Manhattan Special Victims Unit and works alongside actors like: Ice-T, Kelli Giddish, and Christopher Meloni — who recently reprised his role as Elliot Stabler on his own show .
