O’Shea Jackson Jr., has made a surprising revelation regarding the similarity between Mercedes Mone’s theme song and that of a prominent WWE superstar

Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, recently made her highly anticipated return to the American pro wrestling scene by joining AEW instead of returning to WWE. Her debut at Big Business on March 13, 2024, has sparked excitement among fans. However, amidst discussions about her return, Jackson Jr. has pointed out a striking resemblance between Mone’s new theme song and that of WWE wrestler Walter, now known as Gunther.

Jackson Jr., who is also an actor, rapper, and wrestling commentator, shared a clip from WWE’s NXT UK featuring Walter’s entrance theme. Upon closer inspection, viewers noted the striking similarity between Walter’s theme and Mone’s new music. While Walter’s theme carries a menacing tone suitable for his heel character, Mone’s rendition is more upbeat, injecting energy into the arena. Additionally, Mone’s theme incorporates echoes of “CEO,” hinting at a potential new moniker for her in AEW.

Interestingly, Mone had previously hinted at her new moniker through a cryptic tweet before her AEW debut. In the tweet, she referred to herself as a CEO, indicating her ambition and possibly foreshadowing her new identity in the wrestling world.

It’s worth noting that AEW had been pursuing Mone for some time, but her signing was delayed due to ιnjury. However, with her debut now underway, fans eagerly await her future in AEW and the evolution of her character under her new moniker.
