Patrick Mahomes congratulates Travis Kelce and Taylor swift as they move to next level – wedding date confirmed
Yesterday was National Tight End Day (Hmm, that’s very convenient timing, NFL), and of course Taylor Swift wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to support her new man Travis Kelce, who is highly regarded as one of the greatest T.E.s of all time.
Football fans and Swifties alike tuned into the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday to watch TSwift root for Trav, perform handshakes with Brittany Mahomes (KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes’s wife), and wear a gold friendship bracelet with his number on it.
After the Chiefs clinched the victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, Kelce and Swift were spotted leaving the stadium hand-in-hand while wearing their matching reds. They headed to an after-party with other players and posed for some sweet snaps with KC wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and his girlfriend, Chariah Gordon, who shared the images on her Instagram.
It was the second photo in her carousel that practically broke the internet. Swift placed her hand on Kelce’s chest and planted a kiss on his cheek while the football player smiled for the camera.
The couple’s whirlwind relationship has unfolded in the public eye over the last couple of months, though their exact timeline is unclear. However, at a press conference over the weekend, Kelce hinted that they met back in August.
When asked about how people can perfect their Halloween costumes of him and Swift, he noted that whoever dresses up as him will need a good mustache (which he has been rocking since training camp in August. “That ‘stache and the 87 jersey was pretty iconic there for a little bit,” he said. “And I had it when I met Taylor for the first time.”
