Rick Ross and Meek Mill are currently on a big promotional run for their new collaborative album, Too Good To Be True. On Thursday (October 26), the duo appeared on “Inside The NBA” to discuss the music with Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley.

After receiving a diamond-encrusted Maybach Music chain, Shaq discussed his early encounters with Rozay in his Miami career. “Rick told me a story about how he met me a long time ago and handed me his tape. He mentioned that I was courteous to him. I re-met him in 2006, ‘cuz, you know, we wanna be y’all, and y’all wanna be us,” he stated before praising the Carol City talent for the breakout hit “Hustlin’.” “That was my joint whenever I went to the sports… “This guy helped me win the championship in Miami.”

Shaq then disclosed that he collaborated on a remix of the September release “SHAQ & KOBE” with active NBA star Damian Lillard, also known as Dame D.O.L.L.A. “[Ross] handed me the remix first. I was in the studio goofing about, and I just did something,” he said. “I was like, ‘Please like this. Please like it. I truly felt the same emotion with him as I did with Biggie. Notably, Shaq teamed with The Notorious B.I.G. on the 1996 single “Still Can’t Stop the Reign.”

Ross and Meek’s Too Good To Be True is set to be released on November 10. In addition to “SHAQ & KOBE,” fans received a follow-up hit called “Lyrical Eazy,” which sampled JAY-Z’s “Breathe Easy (Lyrical Exercise).”” “Off that 42, get turnt like Dugg and ’em, ’bout that cash, it get real slimy, talk like Thug and ’em,” Meek said on the hard-hitting track.
