This week, during her final concert of the Eras Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Taylor Swift accidentally broke one of her exquisite Louboutin heels and playfully tossed it into the crowd.

The fortunate fan who caught the damaged heel has now decided to sell it in order to support his cousin’s cancer treatment.

Felipe Conrado, who held VIP tickets to all three of Taylor Swift’s sold-out shows in Rio de Janeiro, is eager to spread the word about this unique item.

In his social media caption, Conrado stated, “As many of you have been following, we are currently involved in a significant campaign to raise funds for my cousin’s cancer treatment.” He also added, “If you can share or inform others, the link is in my bio!”

Conrado is committed to ensuring that all proceeds from the sale will directly contribute to his cousin Ângela Conrado’s cancer treatment fund.

Conrado showed off the heel shortly after catching it at Monday's show by sharing a snap of it in his backpack to X (formerly Twitter)

During Monday’s performance, Swift experienced a shoe mishap, causing her to teeter around the stage. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral, drawing comparisons to Margot Robbie’s flat feet.

To compensate for the difference in height caused by the broken shoe, the Anti-Hero singer kept one foot raised, reminiscent of a scene in a Barbie movie where Robbie’s character removes her high-heeled slippers to reveal arched feet, just like the iconic doll’s.

After the show, Conrado informed everyone that he had caught the shoe by posting a picture on his X (formerly Twitter) account. The Louboutin boots were custom-made for Swift’s Eras Tour, which commenced in North America in March and is concluding in South America.

Despite having to cancel her Saturday show due to the scorching heat in Rio de Janeiro, Swift made up for it with a performance on Monday night. During the show, she paid a heartfelt tribute to Ana Clara Benevides, who tragically passed away at the Eras Tour stop in Rio de Janeiro from “cardiac arrest due to dehydration.” Swift performed her poignant ballad “Bigger Than the Whole Sky,” which deals with the grief of losing someone prematurely, in honor of her late fan, aged 23.

Amidst an emotional few days that included the tragic passing of a 25-year-old Swift fan named Gabriel Milhomem Santos and the loss of a fan named Ally Anderson after a five-year battle with cancer, the 12-time Grammy winner was overcome with tears as she addressed the recent tragedies within her community.

Swift sang, “Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye / You were bigger than the whole sky / You were more than just a short time,” leaving many in the audience in tears. She continued, “What should’ve been you / What could’ve been, would’ve been you.”

Her voice trembled as she sang the lines, “Did some force take you because I didn’t pray?”

Another heart-wrenching verse followed, “No words appear before me in the aftermath / Salt streams out my eyes and into my ears / Everything I touch becomes sick with sadness.”

Benevides had collapsed in the front row on Friday, and although doctors attempted CPR at the scene, her life couldn’t be saved. She was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, she suffered a second heart attack and passed away there.

Earlier in the show, Swift expressed her gratitude to her fans for braving the record-breaking heat and rain to support her, despite Saturday’s show being canceled due to the excessive heat.

She remarked to the crowd, “How fortunate must you be to have 65,000 people dancing with you in the pouring rain? I’ve never been able to bring a tour to Brazil before, and you’ve been so supportive of me since the beginning of my career.”

Continuing, Swift said, “You have no idea how thrilled I am to see your faces tonight. I love you so much.”

Her second show, following Benevides’ tragic passing, took place amidst an unprecedented heatwave in Brazil. There have been reports that fans were not allowed to bring water into the highly anticipated concert, despite the scorching conditions.

Some fans mentioned after Swift’s show on Friday that they were not permitted to bring water into the venue, though this hasn’t been officially confirmed.

During her first concert in Brazil, Swift implored stadium staff to provide water to her fans, an incident that was captured on video. She halted the performance and tossed a water bottle into the crowd.

In a concerning TikTok video, Swift appeared to struggle with breathing as the arena temperature exceeded 37°C. In the 11-second clip, she is seen taking seven rapid breaths before launching into another one of her hit songs.
