That’s a wrap on the 2024 Grammy Awards!

Music’s biggest night on Sunday turned out to be a historic evening that saw Miley Cyrus win her first Grammy for best pop solo, Tracy Chapman come out of retirement to sing “Fast Car” with Luke Combs, the legendary Joni Mitchell take the stage for her first ever performance, Céline Dion return to the spotlight after being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome and Taylor Swift nab album of the year for a 4th time — a milestone that officially makes her the first ever artists to do that.

It was also a night of news for Swifties who learned that the “Karma” singer had a new album coming, her 11th studio album, titled The Tortured Poets Department.

But that was all caught on the broadcast. Here’s a breakdown of what viewers didn’t see on TV at the 66th annual Grammys.

On the Grammy’s red carpet, music’s hottest names began arriving. Lenny Kravitz was seen all smiles with his entourage of loved ones and Olivia Rodrigo appeared to be “very low-key” as somebody helped her ruffle the bottom of her dress before her photos.

Sofia Richie arrived with her husband Elliot Grainge. The couple held hands as they walked down the carpet and Richie gave her baby bump a rub before walking towards press and photographers.

Kelly Clarkson also made hearts soar when she came down the carpet holding hands with her son Remington “Remy” Alexander. The mother-son duo caused bystanders to let out a collective “aw” as they passed by.

Before stepping onto the carpet, Swift smoothed down Lana Del Rey’s hair and the duo did a teeth check before posing for photographer.

After making it into the venue, Noah Kahan gave fans insight into the bathroom situation at this year’s awards in a video shared to his Instagram Story. “Just a standard men’s bathroom that’s f—ing disgusting, obviously,” he quipped.

As they waited for the first award of the night (best pop solo) to be announced, Bo Burnham leaned over to put his arm around Phoebe Bridgers, who leaned back in tight. When Cyrus won the award, the duo both stood and Bridgers put her arm around him.

Billie Eilish gave an audience member a big hug before leading them over to her table by hand. During Chapman and Combs’ performance of “Fast Car,” Swift was seen enthusiastically singing along and clapping. She was also up on her feet for SZA’s “Kill Bill” and “Snooze” medley.

In the first commercial break of the night, Ice Spice and Bebe Rexha could be seen making their way to their seats with other show-goers who weren’t able to make it inside before the telecast began. In another break, Joel headed over to Meryl Streep to say hello. Swift was also spotted chatting with Lainey Wilson.

At the end of the break, TJ Osborne was seen re-entering the arena with his boyfriend, Abi Ventura. During another commercial break, Lionel Richie came over to Swift’s table where they shared a hug.

Rita Wilson approached a seated Mariah Carey, who skipped the red carpet. Mariah stood to greet her

When SZA gave Swift a shoutout in her acceptance speech, the “Anti-Hero” singer jumped up and down excitedly at the mention. Shortly after, Swift could be seen on her feet again during Rodrigo’s performance of “Vampire.” Upon hearing the lyric “I used to think I was smart,” the singer, 34, pointed to her head while singing the words.

Swift wasn’t the only one jamming out, Clarkson was seen singing along too and pumping her fist in the air during the bridge.

Later into the night, Swift accepted the award for best pop vocal album and Jack Antonoff and Del Rey shared a hug upon her win. During Fantasia’s tribute to the late Tina Turner, Osborne and Ventura danced up a storm to “Proud Mary,” spinning around together.

In another commercial break, Gayle King went over to Beyoncé to strike up a chat.

Hugs went around all night long through the Crypto.com arena. Rodrigo and Gracie Abrams were seen sharing a squeeze before having a conversation, as were Swift and Ed Sheeran.

After having a chat with Jelly Roll, Swift quickly crossed the room to return to her seat for Travis Scott’s performance. There, she could be seen enthusiastically dancing.

Towards the end of the night, Eilish chatted with Bridgers before making her way to King. Swift hugged SZA and had a short conversation before Eilish came over to give some love to the female artists.

When Victoria Monèt won the award for best new artist, the crowd went wild and gave her a standing ovation. Swift was just as enthusiastic and began jumping up and down. The moment the commercial break began, she raced out of her seat and across the floor to give Ice Spice a big hug following her best new artist loss.

Beyoncé and her lookalike daughter Blue Ivy both gave standing ovations to Eilish upon her big win. The “Break My Soul” singer later gave Dua Lipa a big hug.

Dion’s surprise appearance brought the crowd to their feet.

As guests left, staff handed out garbage bags to help protect those without umbrellas from the rain.
