In a 2013 interview with GQ, Robert Downey Jr. was asked about why he hasn’t received an Oscar yet. Being an iconic actor and with fame by his side, Downey Jr. rather rudely replied that he “couldn’t care less”!

“I, personally, would be shocked if we went to the end of the tape now and I didn’t have at least one… Because it just doesn’t make sense. That’s why I don’t mind showing up and watching everybody else get them.”

He further continued,

“Look, even if I don’t get one directly, eventually they’re just going to have to give me one when I get old. So no matter how you slice it, I’m getting one.”

Well, the world patiently awaits the day when Robert Downey Jr. receives an Oscar for his contribution to Hollywood. The actor was last seen in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and is also associated with 5 other upcoming projects!
