Angelina Jolie did’nt shower for 3 days, letting bees cover her body to take photos

Angelina Jolie didn’t shower for three days just to take a photo covered in bees.

National Geographic “overwhelmed” netizens when it released a photo of Angelina Jolie covered in bees on the occasion of World Bee Day (May 20).

In the photo, the 45-year-old “woman” makes a strong impression with her “deep” green eyes looking straight into the camera. Angelina wore a white off-the-shoulder dress, showing off her slender shoulders and delicate collarbones. More importantly, her body was covered in bees, looking quite scary.

According to Daily Mail, the “Salt” actress cooperated with National Geographic – a television network specializing in the natural world, science and history – to raise awareness about the importance of bee conservation.

To get a photo with such a strong visual effect as above, Angelina and her crew had to put in a lot of effort. Even the mother of 6 children agreed to “be dirty” for 3 days before taking photos.

“It’s funny to do your hair and makeup and wipe yourself with pheromones. We hadn’t been able to shower for three days before that. Because they told me that if I have scents like shampoo, perfume and other artificial scents on my body, the bees will not cooperate,” she said.

In addition, Angelina Jolie had to insert a few specialized items into her nose and ears to prevent bees from following those holes into her body. “I noticed there was a bee under my dress. It’s like one of those old comedies. I kept feeling it crawling up my knees and legs.

Then I thought, ‘Wow, this is the worst place to get stung. It’s really close’. It was there the entire time we were shooting the scene. When the other bees were gone, I lifted my dress and it flew away,” the actress shared about the unforgettable experience.

However, Brad Pitt’s ex-wife said it felt lovely to connect with “these beautiful creatures”. According to her, to have beautiful moments with the bees, she has to be really quiet and that is not easy.

“I think, this creature is sometimes seen as dangerous or painful. So how do we live with it? The point is that we share this planet. We are influenced by each other… I feel very honored and very lucky to have the experience,” she emphasized.
