During an exclusive interview with In Touch Weekly, a source came forward that Brad Pitt was on a much-needed break as it has been painful for him, as the divorce with his ex-wife had an emotional toll on his life,
“It’s sometimes been painful, but Brad has grown so much. He’s turned a corner in what he wants and is living a whole new life. He’s finally putting his wellbeing and his family first.”

According to the source, Pitt wants to end his long and tiring legal battle. Even though the actor is on “good terms” with his other five children, he is not on talking terms with his eldest son, Maddox Chivan Jolie. He is looking forward to making up for the time he has lost during the court proceedings.
“He lost a lot of precious time with them during the custody battle, and he’s determined not to miss any more. He acknowledged his drinking was a problem, and he’s truly sorry for his part in the split. He loves Maddox dearly, and even though they’re still estranged, Brad will always hold out hope for reconciliation.”

The source mentioned how making peace with Angelina Jolie would be difficult, and he has no clear idea how they would do it, but the actor has had enough introspection to bury the past.
“It’s going to be difficult, and he never thought it would happen after all they’ve put each other through, but Brad has done enough therapy and introspection to understand that the right thing to do would be to put the past behind them.”
While the Bullet Train actor is trying to make peace with his ex-wife. It would be extremely difficult as she had penned an emotional mail to her Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, mentioning how their relationship soured over time.
