BREAKING: Chiefs HC Andy Reid Makes Decision On If He’ll Retire Or Return For 2024 Season

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has apparently made a decision on his future as rumors about retirement continue to ramp up.
Reid just coached the Chiefs to their second straight Super Bowl championship, as well as their third in five years to achieve dynasty status. And according to Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, Reid should be back to lead the push for a three-peat.
“I’m expecting him to be back next year,” Hunt told NFL Network’s James Palmer.
Reid has been asked several times about his future as the Chiefs head coach, but he hasn’t dropped any hints that 2023 would be his swan song year.
The 65-year-old has nothing else to prove at this phase of his career, but at the same time, why wouldn’t he want to continue pushing for more championships with Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback? Hunt himself told Palmer that his “pitch” to Reid would be that Mahomes is signed for eight more years, after all.
At any rate, these questions about Reid’s future can wait for another day. It’s time for “Big Red” and his team to bask in the glory of a second straight Super Bowl championship, having become the first team to repeat as champions since the 2004 New England Patriots.
