Brittany Mahomes has hit back at people’s ‘obsession’ with her after being criticized for her ‘high horse’ attitude towards a stadium employee in Baltimore on Sunday.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes divided the internet in the aftermath of his 17-10 win over the Ravens for the way she spoke to a stadium staffer in the tunnel.

After joining the likes of Travis Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift and brother Jason on the pitch to celebrate with the players after they reached the Super Bowl Mahomes, Brittany and his brother Jackson were filmed walking back towards the locker room.

Brittany could be seen on camera asking a stadium employee ‘where do we go from here?’ before spinning her finger in a circular motion.

Some on social media accused her of being on a ‘high horse’, while others disagreed and insisted she did nothing wrong.

Taking to social media in the aftermath of the divisive clip, Mahomes hit back at her detractors.

She posted on Instagram: ‘I take rumors as a compliment.

‘The fact that you’re bringing my name onto tables I don’t sit at shows your obsession. Stay bothered.’

Although there was no clear indication she offended the employee, the clip did not go down well with some viewers on TikTok.

‘Mahomes wife needs to get up off her high horse,’ wrote one user.

Another posted: ‘It’s the where do we go from here with the finger twirl for me.’

‘She is too much.. So extra,’ commented another viewer.

‘lol I’m all for Kelce and swift more than the mahomes,’ added a fourth.

However, other viewers jumped to her defense.

One wrote: ‘honest question can someone explain to me how brittany twirling her finger at an employee rude? I mean she’s not snapping her fingers’.

Another defended her, saying: ‘For real though cause she said, where are we going?’

‘Not a Mahomes celebrity fan, but wife did nothing rude in the video. She simply asked a question. Much ado about nothing,’ commented another.

Mahomes and Swift have become close friends after sitting next to each other at most games that the popstar attends.

She has even been invited out for dinner with Swift and some of her A-list friends in New York City. Patrick Mahomes and Kelce are known to be close friends, too.

Last month, a hotel server took aim at Mahomes and claimed the former athlete didn’t tip any staff at a luxury Hollywood hotel she stayed at.

TikTok user Jessica O’Connor, a former employee of 1 Hotel West Hollywood, recalled the former soccer star staying at the hotel she worked at, specifically calling her out for neglecting to leave a tip for her on a $130 bill at the hotel.

Jessica, 28, also claimed she didn’t tip other staff members during the entirety of her week-long stay.

‘I was a server, barista, bartender. I did every position,’ she said in the video. ‘I believe Brittany was in town to shop for her wedding dress.’

She explained that during her first interaction with the mom-of-two, she ran up a tab that was more than $100.

‘She was there with her whole posse,’ Jessica explained. ‘Patrick was not there. I believe their tab was well over $100, maybe like $130. $0 tip.’

Jessica added ‘that happens sometimes,’ suggesting that maybe she just didn’t like her, but her behavior didn’t get any better as the week went on.

‘They were there for almost a week, I think, and did not tip a single one of our staff. Not only did she not tip, she was just genuinely unpleasant,’ she divulged.
