Cardi B calls pop queen Madonna a disappointment: Is she going to far?

This incident happened after Madonna mentioned Cardi B and many other female artists, saying that she helped them have the right to be more open when talking about their sexuality.

Even though Madonna is her “senior” and is called the “queen of pop”, Cardi B still did not hesitate to express her disappointment and criticize her after she mentioned the female rapper in her latest post.

The story begins when Madonna shares her views and implies that thanks to her, today’s female artists can be open about their own gender and sexual identity. The 64-year-old singer even believes that current female artists can profit from the “struggles” she faced in the previous era. It wouldn’t be worth mentioning if Madonna didn’t mention Cardi B, Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus.

“I was interviewed by narrow-minded people who tried to shame me for empowering myself as a woman. I was called a call girl, treated like a witch and evil. Hell. Now Cardi B can release a song called WAP”, Madonna continued mentioning two other prominent figures, “Kim Kardashian can gracefully be naked on any magazine cover and Miley Cyrus You can be naked while swinging on a ball. No need to be polite, girls.”

Immediately after Madonna’s post, Cardi B was extremely angry and felt deeply offended. The female rapper born in 1992 even called this pop icon a “disappointment”.

“I have actually paid my respects to Madonna many times because I have listened to her music since I was a child. Madonna can make her point without mentioning others and without adding symbols clown comes in. This causes disappointment once you’ve succeeded in the industry. That’s why I keep my opinions to myself,” Cardi B posted on her personal website.

Up to now, the audience is still unclear whether Madonna’s intention was to insult the women she named in the post or not. However, only Cardi B spoke up. Both Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian have remained silent. Before that, Madonna had a very close relationship with both of these stars.
