Multi-platinum emcee Offset has released his highly anticipated new album. Switch offwhich features many A-list artists, including two guest spots from his wife Cardi B. Before the album’s release, Cardi touted the project as “Grammy material,” saying she witnessed Offset putting his “heart and soul.”

While fans on social media raved about the former Migos member’s dynamic appearance, the discussion quickly turned to his wife’s contributions to his latest full-length album. The album’s sixth track, “FREAKY,” had some fans wondering if the “WAP” creator took notes from Nicki Minaj’s signature.

The “Bodak Yellow” host initially seemed to refute the claims by liking a tweet that debunked the fast-growing opinion, but soon after, she decided to comment directly on the issue.

“I love to attach my name to stuff and try to make it a trend,” she wrote in her statement. “When I answer, it’s, ‘I’m the problem.’ I will clear my name every time. Leave me alone if you have a problem with this.”

In other news, Offset recently threw a lavish birthday celebration for Cardi B. Expressing her gratitude, Cardi posted a video of Offset’s romantic displays of affection on Instagram. “Thank you so much baby… you always top everything for me,” she captioned the video, causing the rap couple’s fans to applaud their obvious growth.

As for the rumors that Cardi B borrowed Nicki Minaj’s musical style, people are still going around. A fan on social media said: “Comparing Cardi B To Nicki Minaj is an insult; never do this.” Another fan said: “It’s like she’s lost even the little ability she had in 2018 to recite song lyrics.”

Fans debate what to believe. One commented on Neighborhood Talk’s Instagram post saying, “Lmau Cardi girl, do you see how Nicki responds to the thousands of your fans who comment on her every day? She clearly ignores them. How difficult is it to do? 😂 I need this PROMO for Barbz.” Another mentioned: “She told Kyle to post another tweet so she could respond to it here on IG. This woman and her antics.”
