Cardi B went under the needle to freshen up her enormous peacock tattoo, ten years after permanently inking the massive design down her right hip.

In an eye-popping side-by-side of her signature tattoo’s before-and-after, the rapper gave her 68.2 million Instagram followers a close-up look at the work’s noticeably brighter colors and new intricate details.

‘This whole week I been takin hours of pain getting tatted,’ the 27-year-old I Like It hitmaker captioned the image of her ‘makeover.’

In addition to touching up the faded hues, tattoo artist Jamie Schene added a showstopping pink butterfly on a lotus flower to her booty and more detailing on the peacock’s feathers.

On Instagram, Schene praised the mother-of-one for her ‘strength and determination’ during seven consecutive days of getting tattooed.

Within the first hour, Cardi B’s update already garnered more than 2.8 million likes and comments from celebs Vanessa Hudgens and Noah Cyrus.

‘Did you guys know that this part of the body, the stomach, hip part, it hurts the most like it literally takes your breath away,’ Cardi via her Instagram Story on Sunday.

Additionally, she pointed out she was ‘taking pain like a motherf***er’ during the painful sessions.

Before sharing her big reveal, she shared footage of her growing collection of flowers, butterflies and a Versace inspired gold trim on her body.

She recently unveiling another elaborate tat, which starts on her back and stretches down to her upper thigh.

Three weeks ago, she shared a snap of her peachy backside to Instagram with the massive piece of ink on full display.
