Christina Aguilera’s new video on TikTok caused fans to make a double take because they barely recognized her, and left many to speculate whether the singer had gotten plastic surgery.

According to Page Six, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer shared a what’s-in-my-bag video on the video-sharing platform; she was wearing an all-black ensemble paired with a silver necklace.

What caught everyone’s attention was Aguilera’s features which were “unrecognizable,” some netizens commented, wondering whether she was using a filter.

Others praised the singer for looking so youthful, noting that she barely aged and she looked nothing like a day above 20. Meanwhile, some likened her to the Kardashian sisters.

While many accused Aguilera of getting plastic surgery, some alleged that she might have gotten plastic surgery or maybe the video involved a deep fake.

According to reports, fans pointed out that the singer has “icy blue” eyes, but the “person” in the video seemed to look like they have brown eyes.

“Who is THAT! That is not xtina, she has blue eyes not brown! And the whole thing looks like clone but ok,” one wrote.

Other netizens alleged that the singer’s features were probably touched up with the use of Artificial Intelligence.

But Aguilera’s fans remained adamant that it was the singer in the video: “She sounds and looks like she did when she first came out. I don’t understand why people say this is not her. True fans know.”

Meanwhile, Aguilera is gearing up in preparation for a new era of her music career with the release of the new issue of InStyle Mexico.

As per the Daily Mail UK, the “Your Body” singer’s magazine cover left fans with their jaws dropped, especially since it seems like she looks about the same back when she was younger.

“Ageless goddess,” one wrote with a Teen People cover from January 2009.

“She’s got that ’90s icon’ smolder down,” another added.

“The genie is back and out of the bottle.”
