Cristiano Ronaldo’s summer of fun continued on Tuesday as he paid a visit to Hollywood actor Jason Statham in Beverly Hills on his 49th birthday.
The Real Madrid star has been taking an extended break after a victorious European Championship campaign, where Portugal defeated hosts France in the final on July 10.
Though the 31-year-old proved expendable in the showpiece match after being carried off on a stretcher in the first-half, his Fast and Furious style had carried his country through the tournament.

Ronaldo is recovering from a knee injury that forced him out of the Euro 2016 final against France
Ronaldo scored three times in Portugal’s seven games, levelling Michel Platini’s record of nine goals in tournament history.
And after scoring the winning penalty in Real Madrid’s Champions League final win over city rivals Atletico in May, Ronaldo has been living the high life this summer.
The former Manchester United star sparred with UFC fighter Conor McGregor in the Octagon at the Irishman’s Las Vegas training camp, and proved he was still Cristiano from the block as he enjoyed a Jennifer Lopez gig.
Ronaldo is enjoying an extended break as he works his way back to fitness following the knee injury that curtailed his involvement in the Euro 2016 final, and he will miss the Super Cup between Real Madrid and Sevilla on August 9.

Quoted by Portuguese news agency Lusa, he said: ‘I am completely ruled out for the ninth because my return date is the 10th, there is no chance.’
Ronaldo also addressed the prospect of renewing his contract in Real Madrid.
‘I spoke to the president on the phone and when I get to Madrid, we will talk about it,’ added the Galactico.
‘Obviously it’s something I want, I have mentioned it many times, and the club also wants it. But we only spoke briefly, and there will be more concrete things to come.’
The 31-year-old will return to training with Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos after the showpiece match between the Champions League winners and Europa League champions, aiming to recover in time for their La Liga season opener on August 21 at Real Sociedad.
