Cruz Beckham attempted to follow in his father’s footsteps by showing off his footballing talents on Monday.
Aspiring singer Cruz, 19, share a clip of himself on his Instagram Stories as he tried to insert the Miami espresso capsule into his Nespresso machine by kneeing it across the room.
His retired footballer father, 48, showcased his soccer prowess in a separate Instagram video, with the president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF successfully completing the challenge.
However, Cruz wasn’t as lucky – he managed to knee the capsule in the direction of the machine but missed the slot, with the capsule landing just behind.
It emerged in November last year David had signed a big money deal to advertise Nespresso.

Speaking about the campaign at the time, David said: ‘I’ve always loved Nespresso coffee.
‘Whether I am having a quiet moment at home with my family or preparing myself for a business meeting, the variety of blends is great, it’s so simple to make, and every cup tastes incredible.’
It comes after it emerged Cruz is set to release his new music after signing a major management deal two years ago.
The youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his Spice Girls singer mum.
Cruz has been perfecting his craft with a number of top industry professionals and the Beckham’s have spent a small ‘fortune’ to help him create his sound with top songwriters.
The musician has been working with writer Ed Frewett, who has four No1 singles already and has written Shout Out To My Ex and Black Magic for Little Mix, All Time Low and Glad You Came for The Wanted and Best Song Ever, Steal My Girl and History for One Direction.
He has also been working with producer Fred Ball, who has worked with Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and Joe Rubel, who has engineered records for Ed Sheeran.
A Music insider told The Sun: ‘The plan is to launch this year to let people hear what he has been working so hard on for years.

‘A fortune has been spent on getting him in rooms with some of the best brains in the business and the results are promising.’
In August last year, Victoria shared a video of her son Cruz showing off his musical talent.
Posh Spice showed the apple does not fall far from the tree as she filmed her son playing the guitar in Croatia.
Cruz sat on a stone wall by the sea in front of a stunning sunset and played a beautiful rendition of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles.
It’s not the first time that Cruz has showed off his musical ability, after he previously shared a video of himself playing piano earlier this year.

Cruz Beckham plays ‘Here Comes The Sun’ on a guitar during holiday
The aspiring singer released festive single If Everyday Was Christmas in 2016 and hinted he could be working on some new music in April as he shared a picture of himself in the recording studio.
The teenager has learned to play the guitar, piano and drums and even the mandolin, and said his focus is on ‘just making the music I love’.
And it seems Cruz has always been interested in music as on his 18th birthday his famous parents shared a series of throwback clips of their son singing and performing as a young child.
Last year Cruz took to the stage to perform in Miami with a rock band and reportedly signed to Tap Music, who previously managed Dua Lipa and a range of other big names including Ellie Goulding and Lana del Ray.
