David Beckham‘s alleged affair in 2003 was the ‘unhappiest’ period in his wife Victoria’s life.

The former Spice Girl opens up about the time the couple were faced with the alleged infidelity in their new four-part documentary on Netflix.

Airing tomorrow, the couple are seen speaking candidly about the period in the Spanish capital after Beckham had sealed his move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

Victoria describes the episode as the ‘unhappiest in her life’ while an emotional Beckham is almost in tears as he recalls his own personal anguish of seeing his wife’s heartache.

Beckham has always denied the claims and rather than brush the episode under the carpet the couple confront it head-on.

In another bombshell moment Victoria is left ‘p***** off’ when Beckham tells her her has a photoshoot with Beyoncé and J-Lo so won’t be at the birth of their youngest son, Cruz.

Ahead of the show’s hotly-anticipated release, director Fisher Stevens has told how it was ‘unpleasant’ to ask David and Victoria about their marriage ‘difficulties’.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Fisher said: ‘It wasn’t pleasant, but we got into it.’

‘For me, I approached it as, “How did your marriage stay together?” and you’ll see how he responds,’ he went on.

It comes after the Beckhams were seen out in full force tonight at the premiere for their hotly-anticipated documentary.

And Romeo put on an edgy display as he cosied up to his chic girlfriend Mia Regan while walking the red carpet at The Curzon, Mayfair.

The professional footballer, 21, wore an oversized wrap-around blazer with a matching pair of baggy trousers.

He topped his edgy look off with a pair of white trainers and chose to shield his eyes with some brown-tinted sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Mia, 20, looked as elegant as ever in a black satin slip dress, while she toted her essentials in a small black handbag.
