David Beckham took his son Cruz to watch Man City vs Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg on Tuesday.

The doting father and former footballer, 48, jetted off to Madrid, Spain, with his son Cruz, 18, to watch the tense first round of the Champions League semi-final.

The match came to a knife-edge 1-1 draw, with Man City holding the advantage over Real Madrid ahead of the second leg at the Etihad next Wednesday.

Watching the action from the jam-packed crowds, David cut a suave figure in a black suit and a white shirt, which he styled with a smart tie.

He wore his brunette locks in his signature slicked-back style and opted for a well-groomed beard as he was seen chatting with Cruz, who he shares with wife Victoria.

Cruz looked equally as dapper in a grey suit, which he paired with a crisp white shirt and a black tie for the occasion.

The father-and-son enjoyed some quality time together as they soaked up the atmosphere at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

As well as Cruz, David also shares sons Brooklyn, 24, and Romeo, 20, and daughter Harper, 11, with his fashion designer wife Victoria, 49.

While Romeo has followed in David’s footballing footsteps and plays for Brentford B, Cruz has gone down his mother’s career path and has taken up singing.

During the tense semi-final first-leg, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior scored the first goal with a magnificent strike before the break.

With 11 goals and 11 assists under his belt in his last 22 Champions League games, people were rushing to heap praise on the Brazilian player for his fantastic show.

But when it looked like Junior’s strike would decide the match, Kevin de Bruyne brought things back with an incredible equaliser midway through the second half.

Following the 1-1 draw, Man City will have the advantage ahead of playing the second semi-final leg at their very own home ground, the Etihad Stadium.
