Jason’s brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, also told reporters “I think he’s got some football left in him,” after he was asked whether his sibling would be joining the Eagles in Brazil at the start of next season during Super Bowl opening night in Las Vegas on Monday night.
As it turns out, the Eagles will headline the first-ever NFL game in Brazil, with Commissioner Roger Goodell announcing as much during said event this week. They will be playing one of nine possible opponents at Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo in the 2024 opener on Friday, September 6.
The Eagles will be keen on retooling after following their Super Bowl appearance with a weak 2023 campaign that ended in the first round of the playoffs.
They could be limited by Jalen Hurts’ massive deal, while they are also expected to hand DeVonta Smith and Landon Dickerson new contracts.
