Fans Defend Christina Aguilera’s ‘Healthy Weight Loss’ On Twitter: ‘Stop Saying This Is Ozempic’.bb

Christina Aguilera‘s recent viral TikTok video taken during her trip to Australia has stirred rumors about her possible use of Ozempic after fans observed her looking “slimmer” and “almost unrecognizable.”

However, several people have come forward to argue that Aguilera’s transformation seems to be a result of a “healthy weight loss” journey over the years.

They have taken to X (previously known as Twitter) to defend the “Beautiful” singer, 42, and quell the rumors, as many have been analyzing her evolution of beauty over time.

On November 29th, the “Genie in a Bottle” hitmaker shared her favorite beauty and wellness products that she carries in her handbag while on tour in a new TikTok video for her 4.2 million followers.

The Burlesque alum donned an off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved black top and graphic black sweatpants, showcasing her slim figure and curves.

Christina Aguilera’s Fans Are Divided After Rumors Of Her Taking Ozempic Go Viral

Her video left many fans surprised, with some even describing her as “unrecognizable” and “thinner-looking,” as evident from the comment section of her post. Others guessed that she may have “lost more weight” due to Ozempic, the diabetes drug that many celebrities are controversially taking for the purpose of shedding pounds. Aguilera has yet to respond to these claims from fans and critics.

One day later, other devotees took to X to share older photos of the star and compare them to more recent ones, seemingly showing a gradual and “healthy” weight loss as opposed to the rapid and “unhealthy looking” loss of pounds that is often associated with Ozempic. “Stop saying it is ozempic when [Aguilera] did this in literally a year, without bulls—t harmful weight-loss drugs,” one tweeted.

Another concurred, writing in the thread: “Also, she’s 5 ft nothing…even 15/20 lbs would make a huge difference on her tiny frame,” suggesting that for the reason behind her looking “much thinner lately.” One other agreed, tweeting: “I think people forget that given she’s only 5’2″, even just a 20 or 25lb weight change shows drastically different on her frame/face etc. It’s not like she was ever obese.”

Aguilera’s body image, as many fans pointed out, has “unfairly” been a constant topic of discussion throughout her career. Despite facing criticism for her weight fluctuations, she has remained transparent about her evolving physical appearance.

In her early years, Aguilera rapidly gained prominence in the music industry, signing a recording contract with RCA and releasing her debut album under her own name before reaching the age of 20.

Having displayed remarkable talent and unyielding dedication, the “Dirrty” crooner was ultimately rewarded with the highly-coveted Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

Yet, despite this rapid ascent to stardom, the esteemed vocalist was plagued by feelings of self-consciousness.

In a 2021 interview with Health, Aguilera offered poignant insights into the challenges she faced during the early stages of her career, particularly in relation to her struggles with body image.

“I think we all have our good days and our bad days in how we feel about ourselves,” the mom of two told the publication, after previously noting that she felt “criticized for being on both sides of the scale.”

She went on, opening up to the outlet: “Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves. I appreciated having a booty.”

Although there are those who hold suspicions about the nature of Aguilera’s recent weight loss and question the means and motives behind it, others are focusing on the undeniable radiance, fashion sense, and overall health that she exudes in her most recent TikTok post.

“She looks so healthy and beautiful as always,” one commented as another added: “Omg she looks amazing.” (We couldn’t agree more!)
