Travis Kelce’s dad still doesn’t know if his son will be traveling to Sydney, Australia to join Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour concert.
When asked about any upcoming travel plans, Ed Kelce told the Sydney Herald Square Tuesday, “Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen.
“He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.”
After the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, Travis and his teammates have been wrapped up in celebrations, interviews and appearances. He also hosts the “New Heights” weekly podcast with his brother, Jason.
Additionally, the tight end seems to be testing his luck in Hollywood as he recently produced a movie and is looking at film scripts.
As for Swift, she jetted off to Melbourne following the Chiefs’ big win against the San Francisco 49ers to continue her tour.
During his interview, Ed noted that, because of their busy schedules, the couple will have to work hard to have a successful relationship, saying, “They just need to find their way together.”
Travis’ mom, Donna Kelce, had also previously teased whether her youngest son would be going on tour with the Grammy award winner.
She told People on Feb. 7, “A lot of us are doing a lot of different things … I have a feeling there’ll be some traveling, and probably some podcasts or what have you in Philadelphia.”
His friend and teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, are said to be joining him overseas.
This wouldn’t be the first time that the three-time Super Bowl champion, 34, jets off across the world to support his girlfriend, also 34.
In November, two months after debuting their relationship, Travis traveled to Argentina, where he watched Taylor perform.
His attendance at the singer’s show had Swift changing the lyrics of her “Karma” song from “Karma is the guy on the screen” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”
Swift is set to perform in Sydney from Feb. 23 to Feb. 26 before going off to Singapore.
