A streaker ran onto the field during the third quarter of Super Bowl 2024.

After the Chiefs picked up just two yards on a Patrick Mahomes pass to Mecole Hardman on third-and-8, CBS Sports color commentator Tony Romo informed the more than 100 million people watching at home that there was a “partial streaker” on the field.

While television networks shy away from showing streakers on the field, a number of people in attendance at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas have shared a video on social media.

The streaker did not make it very far before getting tackled by multiple security guards.

The game was hardly interrupted by the disruption.

It is unclear whether the streaker was advocating for a cause or was merely an over-exuberant reveler.

Sunday night marked the third time in the Chiefs’ last four Super Bowl appearances that a streaker has run onto the field.

At Super Bowl 55 in Tampa in 2021, when the Chiefs were playing the Buccaneers, Boca Raton, Fla. native Yuri Andrade donned spandex and promoted an X-rated web site with his streaking exploits.
