Brendan Fevola was left furious on Thursday morning when he discovered stadiums in Australia have enforced a ridiculous rule around friendship bracelets during Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras tour.
The radio host, 43, has spent months helping his daughters Mia, 23, Leni, 15, Lulu, 11, and Tobi, five, make ‘about 50’ bracelets to trade with other fans during one of the popstar’s Aussie shows – a traditional practice among Swifties worldwide.
He was left reeling when he discovered that Melbourne’s MCG and Sydney’s Accor Stadium aren’t allowing fans to bring excessive amounts of the handmade jewellery with them.
During his 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick show, co-host Fifi Box, 46, told listeners: ‘One of the rules is you can bring your friendship bracelets, but you have to wear them… you can’t have any carabiners.’
Brendan explained: ‘Because what they do is they put all the bracelets on the [carabiner] and hand them out.’

He added: ‘People have made up to like 400 bracelets… I think my kids have made about 50… they’re not going to be able to wear them all in.’
The former AFL player said his kids have been left devastated by the new rule, which has flushed their months of hard work down the toilet.
Co-host Nick Cody chimed in to empathise with Brendan, saying: ‘Only in Australia. We are the worst in the world for rules. People just love rules here… just love a rule.’

The Eras Tour FAQ page explains: ‘Friendship bracelets are allowed to be brought into the venues but must be worn on patrons’ arms.
‘Strictly no carabiner, d-rings, or other [sic].’
Just a week ago, before the disappointing news broke, Brendan uploaded a video to his Instagram showing the process of making the friendship bracelets with his daughters.
However, he revealed on 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick that Melbourne’s MCG and Sydney’s Accor Stadium aren’t allowing fans to bring excessive amounts of the handmade jewellery with them
He was seen sitting at a table with his youngest child Tobi and meticulously threaded colourful beads onto strings with her.
The adorable father-daughter duo blasted Taylor Swift’s hit song Shake It Off as they made the jewellery and sang together.
‘Making friendship bracelets for Taylor Swift Eras concert with the kids. Long weekend nights are a little different these days,’ he captioned the heart-warming footage.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Frontier Touring and relevant concert stadiums for comment.
