Jackson Mahomes Is Being Praised For His Heroic, Selfless Act During Mass Shooting At Chiefs’ Super Bowl Parade

Jackson Mahomes got himself into trouble with the law after the Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade in 2023; this time around, he’s being hailed as a hero.

The TikTok star, who has earned notoriety among NFL fans, is winning them over following a startling shooting incident that left one person dead and over 20 more injured after said parade on Wednesday afternoon.

The younger Mahomes was part of the mayhem that ensued after shots were fired and is being credited for his bravery as he is said to have shielded others while also helping a child who had become separated from his parents amid the chaos.

An eyewitness called Jess took to X to post the following:

“I don’t care what anyone says but I have found a new found respect for Jackson Mahomes, Ana and I were stuck hiding with him at union station by the trains and he was taking care of a child who lost his parents and helping him calm down.”

The revelation has prompted plenty of positive reactions from users on the platform.

“In the midst of the pandemonium, Jackson Mahomes’ instincts to protect those around him shone brightly,” BNN’s Salman Khan also reported. “Witnesses recounted how he used his presence of mind to shield others, focusing on safeguarding a child separated from their parents. This act of bravery and kindness amid chaos highlighted a side of Jackson often overshadowed by controversy. His quick thinking and selflessness provided a glimmer of hope and humanity, demonstrating the profound impact of compassionate actions in times of crisis.”

It’s somewhat surprising that Jackson was still out and about as Chiefs players and staff had already left by the time the shooting took place. The parents of the lost kid will be thankful he was as this could have turned out terribly for them.
