Madonna, who turned 65 years old on Wednesday, posted a video on social media, giving her fans a sneak peek into her epic birthday blowout in Lisbon, Portugal.
“It’s great to be Alive………… .. and Amazing to Be able to put on my dancing shoes and Celebrate my Birthday! 🎉🎉🎉 Im So Grateful,” she captioned the video Friday, which was set to a remix version of her hit song “Vogue.”
“Thank you Lisbon and to all who made it possible! 🇵🇹♥️.”
The clip began with the “Evita” star announcing — in true Madonna fashion — that she’s “going to wreck the place with my jewels.”
And in another short snippet, she chanted: “Be in my background, live in my background, stay in my background.”

The video includes Madonna enjoying a boat ride, her children horseriding on the beach and, of course, her birthday extravaganza.
Her oldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, 26, sang a song, while her son David, 17, performed a sweet version of the Elton John classic “Your Song” on piano.
Madonna can also be heard telling the crowd that “it’s great to be alive” as they all cheered.

Her milestone birthday comes on the heels of the performer’s recovery from a health scare that landed her in the intensive care unit in June.
Page Six exclusively reported that she had been rushed to a New York City hospital and intubated for at least one night after being found unresponsive.
The pop star’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared on social media that she had developed a “serious bacterial infection” that required treatment, though he added that her health was “improving.”

After news of her health scare surfaced, the “Holiday” singer broke her silence to thank her six children — which also include Rocco, 23, Mercy, 17, and twins Stella and Estere, 10 — for supporting her throughout her recovery.
Madonna’s illness came in the midst of grueling rehearsals for her highly anticipated “Celebration” tour, which commemorates the 40th anniversary of her decades-long musical career.
Earlier this week, the Sun reported that though the Grammy winner was “still in recovery,” she has been “chomping at the bit to get back to rehearsals.”
