Michael Jordan never approved of his son Marcus dating Larsa Pippen and he finally has a reason to celebrate. The controversial couple reportedly split up due to tension in the relationship, according to Page Six.

Larsa, 49, and Marcus, 33, dated for about a year despite the huge age gap. She was married to Scottie Pippen, Michael’s Chicago Bulls teammate, so the relationship was doomed from the start.

Marcus and Larsa stopped following each other on Instagram and deleted any couple photos they had, leading to fans wondering if they separated.

Page Six has now confirmed that Larsa and Marcus “are taking space from each other” due to Michael “publicly denouncing” their relationship.

“Marcus said Michael was joking when he said he didn’t approve, but it really mortified Larsa,” Page Six reported.
