Miranda Kerr has shared the sage advice she received from her grandmother about how to keep a man happy.
The Australian supermodel, 40, candidly discussed her private life during an interview with The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Tuesday after recently announcing she is pregnant with her fourth child.
During the chat, Miranda was quizzed about her romance with Snapchat founder husband Evan Spiegel, with co-host Kyle Sandilands cheekily asking whether she wears her famous Victoria’s Secret angel wings in the bedroom.
‘I haven’t tried it,’ the brunette laughed, adding: ‘You know, it’s never too late. My grandma always says, ‘You’ve got to keep it spicy’.’
‘She always says, ‘Men are visual’, so I might have to try that,’ she added.
Miranda went on to recall the moment her grandmother shared the same advice while she was still married to ex-husband Orlando Bloom, 46.
‘I just remember, I was pregnant with Flynn [her son with Orlando], at the time… I wasn’t putting makeup on. I was just chilling in my sweatpants,’ Miranda began.
‘And my nan’s like, ‘Come on Miranda, just make a little bit of effort. Put a little something on your face. You know, men are visual,” she mused.
Sandilands cheekily interjected: ‘Your nan was right because that whole relationship ended!’ as Miranda burst into laughter.
Miranda and Orlando were married between 2010 and 2013, and amicably co-parent their son Flynn, 12.
In May, the catwalk queen spoke warmly of the exes’ parenting dynamic during an interview with Stellar’s Something To Talk About podcast.
‘From day one, Orlando and I really made a commitment to put Flynn’s needs at the forefront of everything that we do. So that’s how he has grown up – with two loving parents that want the best for him,’ she said.
‘[Flynn] sees that in the way that we communicate and in all of the special moments that we have together, celebrating different milestones and when we go on holidays together,’ Miranda continued.
‘I think it makes him feel safe knowing that we are always going to put his needs first, and also that we naturally all get along so well. It’s pretty special. I feel very lucky.’
Miranda also explained that she gets along so well with Orlando’s fiancée Katy Perry that she sees the American pop star as ‘a sister’.
‘I literally say how thankful I am for Katy every day,’ the beauty gushed, adding that the women often exchange parenting tips.
‘I feel very blessed to have that relationship with her. She really is like a sister to me and we’ve kind of connected from day one,’ she said.
