Once a supermodel “rocking” the catwalks, but when she retired to be a good mother and a dutiful wife, Miranda Kerr was as busy as any other woman.
Recently, “angel” Miranda Kerr had an interview with Instyle magazine, sharing about her family’s life during the pandemic. The female supermodel said that most of her time at home due to social distancing is mainly spent with her three children, while her billionaire husband still goes to work every day at the company.
Miranda has 3 children, eldest son Flynn is her stepchild with ex-husband Orlando Bloom , second son Hart is the supermodel’s first child with her current billionaire husband, and baby Myles is just 6 months old.
Luckily for Miranda Kerr, this time she has the help of her biological mother in taking care of her children. Miranda’s mother went to the US to visit her children, but she could not return to Australia because of the epidemic, so she stayed to take care of her children.
While his grandmother mainly takes care of 2-year-old Hart, eldest son Flynn also knows how to help his mother with housework such as washing dishes and vacuuming. Flynn studies online but sometimes has guidance from his mother.
Even though they are busy, both Miranda and her billionaire husband also spend a certain amount of time with their children: “The children don’t understand what’s going on out there. They’re just happy because the family has more time together. I and my husband are both busy, but the children understand that they can want to see their parents at any time. Sometimes I let the children into the common meeting room if they want.”
Even though her parents are rich, Miranda Kerr and her husband have a different way of educating, not raising their children like “rich kids”. The eldest boy, Flynn, has a part-time job from his parents such as washing cars or selling drinks with friends to earn his own money and know how to appreciate money. Miranda Kerr’s son also has to save money and not waste money on toys.
“Flynn understands that when it comes to books, we can buy him unlimitedly, but toys are only allowed in special cases, like birthdays or Christmas. You can’t just buy them if you like them.” Miranda shared
She also teaches her son to regularly do charity work and mother and son often cook together for the homeless, give gifts during Christmas, Thanksgiving,…
During the interview, Miranda Kerr also revealed about her relationship with her ex-husband, actor Orlando Bloom and his girlfriend – Katy Perry. The supermodel said she and Orlando remained good friends after their divorce to take care of their son Flynn together. Katy Perry also maintains a close relationship with Miranda.
“I now consider Orlando as a brother and his girlfriend as a family member,” the former Victoria’s Secret angel shared.
