Former lingerie angel Miranda Kerr shared a photo marking the ‘fateful’ day when she met her future husband – technology billionaire Evan Spiegel – at a party 9 years ago.
On Instagram on November 8, Miranda Kerr posted a photo of the moment of shaking hands and greeting, eye contact with Evan Spiegel in that memorable event. She wrote: “On this day in 2014, fate (with Louis Vuitton) brought Evan and I together at the gala at MOMA, New York. The magical moment we met was recorded 9 years ago.” .

One of Louis Vuitton’s photographers at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) that day accidentally captured the moment the model and the billionaire introduced themselves. The photographer probably did not expect this to be the beginning of a beautiful love affair and a famous marriage.
In an interview with WSJ magazine in 2020, Miranda Kerr told the story of her meeting the CEO of Snapchat. The Australian beauty said that after greeting Evan Spiegel, they had a short, pleasant conversation. Miranda told the 7 years younger businessman that her favorite song is Spiegel im Spiegel by composer Arvo Pärt. The song has the same name as Evan’s last name but he has never heard it. After that, they exchanged phone numbers and said goodbye.
Miranda said a month later she mustered up the courage to text Evan: “I asked him: ‘I was just wondering if you’ve heard the song Spiegel im Spiegel ?'”. And they started communicating from there. A few months later, they became a couple and announced their relationship in the summer of 2015. In 2016, Evan proposed to Miranda. A year later, they held an intimate wedding ceremony at a private villa in Los Angeles.
Evan Spiegel confessed to WSJ magazine that after first meeting Miranda at the Louis Vuitton party, he did not contact the beautiful supermodel because he thought she was not interested in him. “I thought I was ‘out of the question’ with Miranda, so I didn’t want to waste any time,” Evan explained.
Thanks to Miranda’s “green light”, they got married and became a happy family. Nearly a decade since they met, Miranda and his wife have two handsome sons and are preparing to welcome their third son. The former Victoria Secret lingerie angel showed off the good news of being pregnant again in September.

Before joining 9X technology entrepreneur, Miranda Kerr was married to actor Orlando Bloom. The couple divorced in 2013 and share custody of their son Flynn. The ex-husband currently has a good relationship with Miranda and her current husband. The beauty is also close to Orlando’s fiancée, singer Katy Perry.
