Miranda Kerr’s security guard is s.t.abbed in the eye by intruder who he shot four times during fight at model’s home
A KNIFE-wielding intruder who broke into the home of model Miranda Kerr was shot several times by a security guard.
The man was confronted after he reportedly hopped the fence into the Australian’s property in Malibu, California, yesterday morning.

He was said to have stabbed the guard in the eye before he was shot, including once in the head. Both were taken to hospital and are expected to survive.
Former Victoria’s Secret model Miranda, 33, who split from actor Orlando Bloom in 2013, was not home at the time of the incident which was reported to have taken place just after 11am.
The mother-of-one, a five-year-old boy named Flynn who she had with the Hollywood star, is now engaged to Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said officers had responded at 11.13am to reports of a person with a gun.
He told Mail Online: “Deputies responded to a shots fired call in Malibu. They discovered a security guard had been involved in a physical altercation with an intruder.
“The guard was stabbed in the facial injury and he had minor injuries.
“He produced a handgun and shot the intruder three to four times in the face and torso.

“Neither the guard nor the intruder has life threatening injuries.”
The stabbed security guard was airlifted to hospital but was seen walking onto the helicopter unaided following the attack.
Several police vehicles were parked outside Kerr’s home in Malibu yesterday as officers collected evidence and spoke to witnesses.

Neighbour Craig Moore said: “It’s kind of a crazy thing to happen out here in Malibu. I guess it happens everywhere but we just don’t ever have it happen in our neighbourhood.”
Officers did not confirm if there was anybody else in the property at the time but said the intruder will face charges.

Miranda was previously targeted by thieves in 2009 when they stole jewellery and clothes from Bloom’s home.
And in 2013 she was the subject of a murder plot by an obsessed fan.
Steven C Swanson had called the cops to tell them of his plan to shoot Kerr with two handguns.
During the call, he referred to the model as his “soulmate” and his “wife”.

Photos of Kerr were also found all over his home.
A court heard he had schizophrenia and had stopped taking his medication.
The intrusion comes just weeks after Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint by an five intruders in Paris.
The reality star was tied up, put in a bath and had more than $10 million worth of jewels stolen from her by five masked, armed men in the French capital.
