The Queen of Rap, 40, spoke out on social media to her fanbase on Sunday, urging them to “never threaten anyone” on her behalf, Revolt reports and screengrabs by fans of her now-expired Instagram Story reveal.
The “Super Bass” rapper took to her Instagram Story to share a brief note addressing her fans’ behavior. “Dear Barbz,” the rapper wrote, “Be sure to never threaten anyone on my behalf.”

She continued, “Whether on the internet or in person. Whether in jest, or not. I don’t & never have condoned that.”
The superstar then reminded her followers that her long-awaited new album, Pink Friday 2, is coming soon. “We have an amazing album right around the corner 12/08/23,” she shared. “It feels so surreal & euphoric.”
“Wishing you blessings on blessings,” the rapper concluded.
Minaj did not clarify why she made the statement at this time. Although, it appears as though she was referring to her fans’ anticipated response to her upcoming new record.
As reported by Revolt, the Barbz’ social media usage has nearly led to Minaj being sued.

Minaj’s highly anticipated fifth studio album will arrive on Dec. 8. Late last month, the “Barbie World” artist revealed in an Instagram Live that she was shifting the release date for a second time from Nov. 17 to Dec. 8 to both fall on her birthday and to accommodate for the vinyl release.
In the video to her fans, she said, “The new album date for this incredible body of work that I am so proud of is on a very special day to me and to the Barbz. Pink Friday 2, I am so happy to announce, will be out on my birthday, December 8th.”

The hitmaker added, “I am so filled with emotion about it because, as y’all know, it’s been a long time coming.”
After opening up about how she had “writer’s block” after the release of her 2018 album Queen, she teased Pink Friday 2 as the project that she has “never in [her] life been so in love with.” The Grammy-nominated rapper said, “This entire album will be the biggest gift I have ever given humanity thus far. I can stand by that. I will bet any amount of money that Pink Friday 2 the album is going to make people fall in love immediately.”
In June, the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper revealed on social media that her upcoming album would be a follow-up to her seminal 2010 record Pink Friday. She also revealed at the time that the project, then slated for Oct. 20, would drop on Nov. 17.
Since officially announcing Pink Friday 2, the star has given fans a taste by sharing the single “Last Time I Saw You” and previewing an unreleased track during her performance at the 2023 MTV VMAs.
