Nicki Minaj cursed Miley Cyrus severely on live television
The rapper used an obscene word to curse Miley Cyrus when he went on stage at MTV Video Music to receive an award.
The MTV Video Music Awards ceremony took place on the evening of August 30. Miley Cyrus hosted the show while Nicki Minaj was one of many award-winning artists.
Nicki Minaj suddenly cursed Miley on stage.
When she went on stage to receive the “Best Hip Hop Video” award for Anaconda , Nicki thanked her fans and collaborators. After that, the female singer suddenly turned to criticize Miley Cyrus. Nicki said: “Back to that motherfucker who said so much about me in the press. Miley, how’s it going?”. Miley reacted while taking on the role of host: “We are all in this industry, we all go to the newspaper and give interviews and say nonsense. Nicki, congratulations.” The singer then led through another part of the awards night while Nicki said, “Don’t mess with me, bitch.”
Nicki and Taylor Swift were previously said to have argued on Twitter regarding the MTV Video Music Award nomination. Nicki once hinted that Taylor was nominated for “Video of the Year” thanks to the MV praising women’s slim bodies. So when interviewed, Miley reiterated: “If you want to turn it into a race, that’s your way. But don’t act like you’re the only one in that race.”
Taylor and Nicki were close at the awards ceremony.
While the relationship between Miley and Nicki seems to be deteriorating, Nicki and Taylor Swift show that there is no war between them. The two happily hugged each other during the opening performance of the awards night.
