Wealth-X – a company specializing in researching the super rich – has just released a list of famous people who own huge assets.
According to Wealth-X’s announcement, Madonna topped the list with assets worth 910 million USD (more than 20 trillion VND). The Queen of Pop has had a brilliant music career over the past three decades with more than 300 million albums sold globally.
Standing right behind Madonna is Tiger Woods, a professional golfer. He owns a fortune of 900 million USD. The money he earned was partly thanks to an advertising contract with Nike.
Actor Jerry Seinfeld ranked third with total assets of 860 million USD. The fourth position belongs to Rapper and musician P. Diddy, who owns a fortune of up to 780 million USD. He owns his own record label Bad Boy Records. P.Diddy is the person who contributed to the success of many music products for stars Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Lil’ Kim.
Dr. Dre is the 5th position holder on the rankings. The American singer-songwriter has earned $730 million. He began his career as a rap singer in South Los Angeles, where he rose to fame with the rap group NWA in the late 1980s. Dr. Dre left the group in 1992 and a year later, he released the solo album “The Chronic” and won three platinum records and a Grammy award.
Besides the top 5, the list also includes many famous names in the world of artists and sports such as singer Céline Dion, basketball player LeBron James, actor Shah Rukh Khan…
