Rio Ferdinand speaks out to confirm information about David Beckham buying MU (video)

Ferdinand spoke to Beckham at England’s 0-0 World Cup 2022 draw with the USA amid reports for that the former Real Madrid star wants to buy Man United.

The Glazer family confirmed last week that they are looking to end their 17-year reign at Man United and are ready to sell the club.

Beckham, who co-owns MLS club Inter Miami, has been rumored to be interested in buying the club.

However, Ferdinand said that Beckham would only be part of a bidding group, not as an individual.

Beckham can participate in M.U’s change of ownership.

“Becks will go with a consortium. I met Becks last night at the match, I went to watch the England match and we sat next to each other.

He smells good, looks beautiful. He looks like a million bucks, as he always does. He doesn’t look like he’s worth $10 billion [the amount it might take to buy Manchester United].”

“But when you mention the name of someone like Becks, he’s obviously part owner of Inter Miami, but he didn’t come alone. It’s not his money. He was with a group. He is with people with deep pockets who are capable of making such a deal.”
